A Busy Week

Our good friend Chris took us to the opera to see Barber of Seville at the San Francisco Opera on the 4th of November. So, we got all dressed up (see picture at right - notice I'm "dressed up" in pants since none of my dresses fit anymore :) and headed to the city for dinner and the show. The opera was great!
The next day I headed off to Denver for a week long reading conference with four other teachers. I learned so much while I was there and got to enjoy some beautiful Denver weather - it was 80 degrees one day!
I got back Thursday night from Denver and had a doctor's appointment early Friday morning. My doctor (back from maternity leave) got caught up on how I've been. We also listened to the heart beat going strong at 150 beats per minute. She's definitely moving around a lot, so I'm not surprised her heart beat is on the high end of the expected range of 110 to 160 beats a minute. The doctor also measured me and Fetus and I are right on track - yay!
Up next...my next doctor's appointment is in mid-December. Until then we're busy getting the nursery ready.
