Beautiful Baby
We had a good Father's Day. The best part was that Dave was actually here! He was supposed to be in Germany for work, but at the last minute the trip got canceled and he was able to spend his first Father's Day with Carina. We managed to hit all of the grandpas too! We had breakfast with Grandpa John and Grandpa Gary and then later in the day went to Grandpa Spencer's house to hang out. The picture below is from our visit there:
Something about the color and lighting at my dad's house made this picture look super cute - well, it also helped that Carina is just too adorable for words. A lady stopped me in the store yesterday and told me that Carina should be on the cover of a magazine - I agree! :-)
The really exciting news for the week is that Carina started sleeping in her crib. She'd been sleeping with us and we decided it was time for her to move to her own room. She has been doing great so far and I think it's been harder on me not having her there than it has been on her. Here's a picture of her sleeping (not in her crib), but I thought it was cute:

Carina is growing so fast. We also got a chance to visit my friend, Renae, and her little guy, Mason, who is five months older than Carina. He was crawling everywhere and can even say a few words! I can't believe that my little baby will be there in just a short time. I'm so lucky to have the summer off to watch her grow!
