Trying to Make a Move

Carina and I are on our own this week (Daddy is in Las Vegas for a security conference). Things are a little more hectic for me, but so far we are doing OK. Carina is growing so fast and is so much fun to be around. She's eating more food now (squash, green beans, and yogurt are the latest new menu additions). She loves it all! She continues to get bigger (up to a little over 15 pounds now - which is still on the small side for a 7 1/2 month old, but she's in the average range at least). She's also thinking about trying to crawl :-) Check it out...

Back to Cute Stuff!

Things have been super hectic since I went back to work on August 20th, but I'm hoping to get the hang of this whole working mom thing soon. Carina is adjusting well also. She's still up to fun new tricks (like putting both feet in her mouth and sucking on her big toe) and trying to pull herself up out of her bathtub. She's also learning some new stuff. She started full time daycare this past Friday and is working on adjusting to all the new aspects that brings with it. She's also learning more English every day. She says ma, ba, da, and a few other letter combinations that actually sound like parts of words.

In other news, Carina finally got to meet her Uncle Steve. Dave's brother made it out from Philadelphia to meet Miss Carina over Labor Day weekend. That same weekend Dave and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary with a date! Grandma and Grandpa watched Carina and we went out to dinner and a movie. We had a great time!

Carina's cute as ever and it's hard to leave in the morning and not get to see her cute little face, but I make up for it with extra love when I pick her up.
