A Baby No More
Dave and I are slowly coming to grips with the fact that our "baby" is gone. We now have a little girl. We look at her and are sometimes just amazed at how big she is...and how much she can do! We are also getting a glimpse of the "terrible twos" with her new favorite phrase: "I don't wanna." She's sure lucky she is cute! She is using a spoon like a pro these days and can even eat soup. Here she is enjoying some turkey chili (note to self: do not allow small person to eat chili, broccoli, and cauliflower for two days in a row unless you want some seriously disgusting and smelly stuff coming out the other end)...

For Thanksgiving we stayed home and made a Hispanic feast. Dave and I were in the kitchen all day making yummy stuff like homemade tortilla chips, enchiladas, and key lime pie. Yummy! On Friday we headed to Templeton for a second Thanksgiving. We met up with my dad at the Charles Paddock Zoo. Carina and cousin Liam were playing so well together and played a little "Fling a Frog"...

This week has been a little rough as Dave hurt his back over Thanksgiving and has been pretty much out of commission. Luckily, Dave's parents came up to the Bay Area to help us out and Gary helped me get the Christmas stuff out. Carina had fun helping us decorate the tree and got in the spirit with some reindeer antlers...
We are really looking forward to the holidays this year because we can't wait to see how much fun Carina will have!
