Spoonin'

Carina has been practicing using a spoon with certain foods (like yogurt, oatmeal, and other foods that stick to the spoon). She isn't doing so well yet, but we figure it's good practice if nothing else. She tends to start dipping the spoon in the food and then using her other hand to take the food off the spoon and put it in her mouth.

By the end of any meal when we try this she is pretty messy, but she's happy! She's also starting to get her top two teeth, so that will make eating even more fun!

Slide!

We basically have a park in our front yard. We've taken Carina out a few times to "play", but really she hasn't been old enough to enjoy most of it. Last week we went out to try the slide again, and in no time she had figured it out. She'd scoot her little booty and lean forward to get herself going down....smiling the whole time. Daddy even rushed home from work one day to watch all of the fun and he caught the fun on video. Check it out below...
