What Did You Say?

Carina says lots of funny things....and, sometimes, she just says things funny. Here are some notes in case you talk to her in the near future:

What she says=what she means
"luv me"=I love you
"faa down there"=that object fell down right in that spot
"elp!"=Will you please help me? I'm having trouble doing this.
"ABC's"=letters
"Maya"=cat (we have two cats, one named Maya, but she just thinks cats are called Mayas)
"bank"=coin money
"mote"=remote
"me do it"=I would like to do this on my own
"peas"=please
"welcome"=thank you or you're welcome
"shoppy cart"=shopping cart
"babies"=I would enjoy watching You Tube videos of babies laughing
"Starbucks"=Starbucks (I'm sort of embarrassed about this one)

Her musical tastes are forming too...
"iPod"=I'd like to listen to some of my favorite songs (Which include....)
"row row boat"=Row Row Row Your Boat (the Andy Z. version)
"mount"=She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain

In other news, potty training is going very well! At home, she is pretty much trained. She tells Dave and I when she has to go and can pull her pants down and get up on the toilet all by herself! Woo-hoo! She's even been waking up from naps with dry diapers, so we'll probably give that a go soon. At daycare she is having a harder time. With all of her friends around and all of the playing, she does not tell Michele when she has to go. Michele reminds her every couple of hours and she does go, so we're mostly accident free there too - it's just getting her to tell Michele when it's time.
